30 June 2011 - Mushrooms amongst the cabbages in the border behind the shop at South Road. Looks like the same ones as last year but I'm more convinced that it's not an Imperial Cap. I can't find it in Roger's Mushrooms or Collin's Mushrooms. If anybody can identify it I'd appreciate it.
Gills yellow centre spreading to white around the outside; cap woody brown centre dent, stem firm, smell mushroomy, firm hollow sound upon tapping, found amongst cabbages under laylandii, land recently had trees cut down and chipped with chippings piled nearby.
